The Hidden Messages of Water
Producers description: A photo-essay from Japan entitled Messages from Water took Europe by storm as it made its way around the world. By taking a photographic look at water crystals, we are able to determine the mysterious effects that music, words & thoughts have on water. Until now, researchers alone - with the use of their microscopes - had capacity to witness water crystals grow and expand. Not any more - caught on video for the first time: water crystals in motion!
Considering the earths surface and the human body are more than 70% water this is a message no one should miss!

Your Healing Power: Healing Yourself, Helping Others
Producers description: Your Healing Power explores an ancient healing secret that can erase pain, disease, and sickness. Until recently, this practice called Qigong was kept private and made extremely complicated by its masters. Teacher and healer Chunyi Lin discovered that its healing benefits could be achieved with a few precise movements and meditations. He stripped away the mystique and distilled the practice into an easy-to-use system called Spring Forest Qigong. Follow practitioners through a 6-day retreat, hear their commentary and personal insights, and witness miraculous healings.

“The
Healing Touch of A Parent”
A
child
suffering with pain is a heartbreaking experience for most parents. The
Maple Center is excited to offer to Wabash Valley parents, this informational
seminar that will introduce parents to the use of acupressure to improve the
symptoms of common childhood ailments including earaches and constipation.
The Chinese refer to this technique as “Tuina”. By learning these techniques, the healing touch of a parent can complement the standard care being offered by the child’s family physician or pediatrician.
The wonder of this technique is that it provides parents with the empowering knowledge and skills to be able to assist their children when pain is present and comfort is required.
After attending this FREE seminar, parents may decide to register for upcoming workshops that will provide detailed instruction and technique application in these acupressure techniques.
Call today or register online for The Maple Center’s FREE “The Healing Touch of A Parent” Informational Seminar. This seminar will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2007 (6:30-8:00 PM) at the Main Branch of the Vigo County Public Library (Meeting Room C). Please call (812) 234-8733 OR go online at www.themaplecenter.org for more information or to register.
