Background:
Chris
Leininger is a Level III Certified Qigong Instructor and Clinical Practitioner
with the National Qigong Association. He is also a Certified Acupressure
Massage Therapist. He is currently
pursuing his master’s degree in Chinese medicine at Midwest College of
Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Chris is a survivor of Chronic Lyme disease
Following years of antibiotic treatment (including nine months of
intravenous antibiotics) for Chronic Lyme Disease, he was declared Lyme free.
However, in spite of his doctors’ efforts, he was left with disabling
arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and many other ailments.
He was told he would need to learn to live with the pain and train for a
new vocation. Devastated by this
suggestion, and in an effort to regain his own mobility, his journey into
Chinese medicine began. During the
process of healing, he realized that he was being called to serve more than just
himself. In the spring of 2005, he
opened
Chris has studied Medical Qigong with Master Binhui He of
His office utilizes pulse and tongue assessment, Acupressure (Jin Shin), Tuina, Qi Emission utilizing Medical Qigong & Quantum Touch.® techniques, Cupping, Gua Sha, Chinese Herbology, Nutritional Counseling, and Personalized Qigong Instruction catered to each client’s specific health needs.
Chris is in the process of developing a non-denominational Qigong program for churches entitled, Grace Qigong™. He welcomes inquiries regarding seminars, workshops, and retreats.
